I live in a new build home in Ashford with a driveway that can accommodate two vehicles, end to end, with a carport at the front of the property. The development's covenant notes the carport cannot be turned into a garage. The carport has brick walls on either side, a house on one side and shared wall with a neighbour on the other side, and a ceiling as the third bedroom is located above. I am keen on a roller door at the rear of the carport, as I only have one vehicle, but appreciate it is potentially exposed to the weather from both sides. I also want to use the roller door for security purposes. Is my request feasible? Cheers, David
